rreed
We are using Retrospect 5.0.238 on a Mac OS X server (10.1.4) with an ADIC DLT7000 changer and we're seeing some odd behavior. When we run a backup, Retrospect will write to some tapes, then stop and ask if it's ok to write to other tapes (even when the tape is erased). Most disturbingly, we cannot format tapes at all. When I go to the Device menu, only "Device status" and "Erase" are enabled - all other options including format are greyed out. This stuff used to work in Retrospect 4.x with the Advanced Driver Kit. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a workaround? Bob Reed National Geographic
