BruceBundy
I have been using 6.0 for two weeks with almost no problems. Then I got the free upgrade to 6.5 and installed on top of 6.0. Now when it tries to recognize the media it hangs. BTW I am using the Professional Version with one Client on Windows XP

AmyJ
Does this happen only when there is media in the drive? What if you go to Configure > Devices > Environment with no media in the drive - do you see the same hang? Try temporarily removing the Retrospect configuration files (config60, config60.bak, config65, config65.bak) from: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Retrospect Launch Retrospect, enter your license code and try the drive - do you see the same hang? If not, your configuration files may have corrupted during the upgrade.
