I have both an OnStream for small daily backups and a VXA-1 for weekend, longer backups. If they're both on and hooked up, the Configure->devices sees both, with the tapes in them, but will only backup to the VXA-1. If I unplug the VXA-1 it still won't run the OnStream (even after a reboot) until I do something like start up a Restore that accesses the OnStream tape. It's like different parts of the program don't talk to each other until forced to. Any ideas on how to make these two tapes both run when they're supposed to, without having to turn one of them off and doing all the manual work? I'm on OS X 10.1.3 with Retrospect 5 (still Preview for now). I have 2 separate backup server scripts, one for each drive. Thanks. -dan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
