PFraterdeus
I've done a restore from a Disk Fileset to a locally mounted Firewire (4200rpm) and it's taken over 12 hours to restore 20GB. Now, the process window says there are no files left to copy, but that it's "Completing Restore" About one filename per second flashes by. There are over 380,000 files. What is goin' on here??? Why should it take 12 hours to restore 20G??? Please, any ideas, hints pointers > peterf@mac Thanks! Peter
PFraterdeus
Now the "Completing Restore" window has been up for at least 6 hours. Still not finished. All the files have been copied. What exactly is happening when this window is up??? Is it normal to take so long??? Why does it need to go through every filename again??? Thanks for enlightenment.
