Guest
I just installed Retrospect 6 on my backup computer and client on two networked computers. The client computers have the following message appear every time they boot up: You have never been backed up remotely. Contact the backup administrator for more information. Does anyone know what this means? Does that mean the daily backups are not working because the logs show that the backup has occurred.
AmyJ
It sounds like you are backing up the clients through Windows Networking, rather then through the client software. Go to Configure > Volumes. Do you see these machines under My Network Places, Backup Clients or both? You should have the clients logged in under Configure > Clients and back them up through the client software.
Guest
I can see the machines under My Network Places and Backup Clients. I can also see the properties of both machines under Configure > Clients. Could it be the message occurs because I am only backing up a specific folder versus the entire hard drive?
