macsys Posted February 6, 2003 Report Share Posted February 6, 2003 When trying to do a backup from the main window, Immediate tab, Backup button. If any of the volumes were already mounted on the desktop I would get tons of -43 errors. Mind you the prefs are setup so that Retrospect will auto mount servers. But if retrospect mounted them on it's own then the -43's would go away. The backup server is on a G4 connected directly to the main server via ethernet. Extra ethernet card in the main server. The backup server isn't even connected to the network. Just sharing some info on this -43 stuff. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
