mleblanc Posted January 28, 2003 Report Share Posted January 28, 2003 This morning I started a first backup for a new MacOS X client, with 10gb of data. After a minute of two, Retrospect told me the time remaining was about 1 hour 40 minutes. I watched it finish 4.5 hours later! The log says the duration was 1 hour 38 minutes, performing at 115 MB/min. The backup set is on an IOMEGA NAS server. No one else was accessing it and my LAN traffic in general was very light. The actual operation is taking about 3x the time Restrospect estimates! I monitored the backup from time to time and saw your display ranging from 30 to 180 MB/min.
