Bob51
I unable to perform an initial backup and need some help. For the record, my OS is XP Home, using Retro 6.0. My Cdrive is 10G (7.78G used, 1.75G free), a Maxtor external HD 5000DV (120G). This is what happens using Immediate backup it states there is 5.4G to backup, but when it gets to 1.8G completed another window comes up indicating "Select a disk to add as storage to Back up Set A (About 3 new 1.8G members needed)". Is this telling me there is not enoungh room on my cdrive to create the back up set? If so, how will I ever get around this when I want to back up all files? And where and when does it ask to use the external HD during this process? Very confusing.
Bob51
As a followup, this morning my system is telling me I only have 108MB of space left out of the 1.75G I started with last night before starting to backup. I don't see the backup set file anywhere. Where did all the empty space go?
