asussman
Hi, I have a question about restoring. Am I correct in assuming that if I create a backup on DVD+r media on a DVD/RW that I will not be able to restore on a seperate machine that only has a DVD drive? I need to be able to send backups to a off site storage place. They own Retrospect Professional 6.0 as well, but do not have a DVD/RW at this time. I have tested this in my office, and I cannot restore (or rebuild the catalog) from another machine running retrospect 6.0 with only a DVD drive. Thanks! AmyJ
That's correct - Retrospect does not finalize the media in a way that is readable by standard DVD-ROM drives. You'll need to use a supported DVD burner to read the data.
