MacLeod
Hello, We are new to Retrospect and are having a problem. Retrospect is running on an NT WorkStation with Service Pack 6. The files that we are backing up are on a Quantun SnapServer. We are running TCP/IP over the network. Our problem is that Retrospect cannot consistently access the shares on the SnapServer. Sometimes our scripts work at other times the log reports that the source could not be found. We have configured the launcher and none of the settings seem to consistently solve our problem. When creating a source, e.g. \\Server1\Share, it will occasionally appear as \\Server1\Share and at other times will appear \\Server1\Share (G:). It appears that the backup will work when \\Server1\Share (G:) is the source. Why does Retropsect inconsistently display our shares? Why doesn't it work with drive letters? We have read the FAQs and they do not seem to address our problem. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. MacLeod
