gmob
running backup pro 6.0.206 updater 3.5.103, win xp pro, dvd+RW, clueless new user New Year's resolution to back up. I inserted the 7th dvd of a chain, new disc. I wanted to get a label in it so I clicked the eraser icon in the environment dialog, which usually prompts for a disc name. This time the backup had already proceeded writing the disc, I'd missed a beat, I guess. So the clicked eraser just killed the backup. Crash, send info to Bill Gates. Retrospect promised that my assert error would be written to a log file, so I didn't take notes. Program shut down. No assert log file. Retroruin.exe, no that's retrorun.exe, is still running and the dvd drive light is still twinkling. There's no record of the backup anywhere. I suppose I should not do anything without a command to do so. I'd prefer if dangerous clickpoints were disabled and stupid clicks were greeted with "did you really intend to do that?"
