AmyJ Posted December 16, 2002 Report Share Posted December 16, 2002 Try creating a brand new backup set with hardware compression disabled (uncheck the hardware compression box in the backup set creation window). Run a backup with this set, and software compression enabled (in the Options). If the data compresses with software compression, you may have a problem with the hardware - contact your hardware vendor for repairs. If the data does not compress, the most likely cause is data that is not compressible, such as audio or video files.
