paulvb
This is a suggestion/request to add support in Win Pro for Linux/Unix clients. I'm backing up a Mac and a Win client from my Win2k system. I'd also like to back up my Linux and Solaris systems. I'm happy to pay for the additional cleints, but I can't justify an extra $1000 for multi-server. Thanks, Paul

mguleno
Please add the ability to backup Linux clients using Retrospect Professional 6.x! My home network includes a few different OSs (WinXP, MacOS X 10.2.x and Linux) and want to back all these machines up via Retrospect Professional. If you add this functionality to Retrospect Professional 6, I will be happy to purchase a 5 client license pack and recommend the product to friends with similar environments. Thank you, Mark

Guest
I think I'd probably jump on this too - the Unix/Linux client, and recommend it to others. AB
Mayoff
We did make a change with Retrospect 6.5 to include Red Hat support with Small Business Server, Single Server and Multi Server versions
Guest
United Linux support would be nice too as I run the SuSE product. Thanks. AB
vdubgeek
I too would like to second this request. I have both a WinXP and Linux computers that I would like to backup using Retrospect Professional. These are both my home computers, and are used strictly for learning. I can't justify upgrading to a server version of Retrospect in order to backup my personal Linux box. I think adding support for the Linux client to Retrospect Professional for home use would be a welcome addition to a great product.
