WannabeMKII 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Hi, I'm new to the forum and have very limited knowledge, so please be gentle! :-) It's time for me to start making backups of my system. I've been looking at the FireWireDirect Ultra III drive with the firewire connection. This leads me to a few questions; 1. Does Retrospect Pro recognise this particular drive? 2. How would it appear on my system? As an additional drive? 3. Are FireWire connections catered for in Retrospective? Ummm... I think that's it for now, but I'm sure I've missed something!? ;-) Apologies if they're basic and 'stupid' questions, but I hope someone can help me, please! Thanks, Chris. AmyJ 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2002 All hard drives are supported through the Operating System. If the OS supports the Firewire drive, Retrospect will use it. For complete information on backing up to hard drives with Retrospect, please see: http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=kbase&ACTION=KBASE&id=27642
