disteinborn
I am getting an external hard drive to use for backing up my system. I am wondering how one configures Retrospect Professional 6.0x so that it will allow multiple backup sets on a single partition on an external hard drive. Is there a way to do that? If so how does one set it up? Thanks!
AmyJ
You may find the following tutorial helpful - it outlines the steps for backing up to hard drives. http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=kbase&ACTION=KBASE&id=27441
disteinborn
Thanks for pointing me to these instructions. Am I correct in believing one has to do an immediate backup before one can create a scripted backup that will work (when the destination is an external hard drive)? AmyJ
You can create a scripted backup without doing an immediate backup first. You may want to try the Easy Script wizard on the Automate tab for quick set up.
