Julie Posted March 20, 2002 Report Share Posted March 20, 2002 Hi. I am running Retrospect 4.3 on a Blue and White G3. I am running this as a File Server on OS 8.6 and Appleshare 6.3. It has 640 MB of memory in it. The backups are running fine. However, after a backup runs, the memory available to my users and the Mac OS goes from 512 some odd MB to 168 some odd MB and it never lets the memory go until I reboot the server. I did not have this problem with the older version of retrospect nor is the newer version having any problems performing its backups. What could this be?
