khughes
Recently upgraded my DDS2 to a DDS4 tape drive and upgraded the OS from 9.0.4 to 9.2.1. Since then I have had varying degrees of crashing. After slimming down the extensions I have had better luck, but my latest development is that Retrospect won't quit after completing the nightly automated backup script. Any clues on why Retrospect v4.3 would have difficulty quitting? Launch and Quit always work, seems to be centered around the automated script. Mayoff
Make sure the retro.startup extension has not been disabled. You can also try changing the Schedule>look ahead time to 1 hour from the 12 hour default.
khughes
Why would changing this setting benefit? I have made the change, but not really sure what this setting does. I discovered with Dantz's help that a critical driver wasn't loading, so I am sure that will greatly increase my chances for success.
