jhg
Starting about a week ago, I've been seeing a new dialog popping up in the background. The title is "Interactive Services Detection" and the text is A program running on this computer is trying to display a message See the attached image When I click "View the message" it just displays the Retrospect Monitor on a blank desktop. There seems to be one of these every time a scheduled task starts, and I assume something's changed in Win7 that's now trapping the background activity and popping up this new dialog. Suggestions on how to avoid this? Edited December 16, 2010 by Guest
Daniels
You can try stopping or disabling the Interactive Services Detection service however be aware that you will not get any messages relating to Retrospect even after succesful backups. On my client I have sent it to start manually and I never see this message.
