Guest
Hi all, Does enabling multiple users have any adverse effects on retrospect? Does a user need to be logged in for retrospect to run unattended? Is there a way for retrospect to run in the background as a service/daemon? Thanks, Jeff
Guest
A user must be logged in and Retrospect must be open to run a scheduled script if Multiple Users is enabled. Here's a note from the latest Readme file: Multiple Users Prevents Autolaunch : Mac OS 9's Multiple Users prevents Retrospect from launching automatically to execute its scheduled scripts. Before you leave the backup Macintosh, start Retrospect manually from within Multiple Users. This allows Retrospect to run scripts as scheduled.
