"elem.cpp-986" error

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I have Retrospect MultiServer v7.6.2.101 installed on a Windows Server 2003 machine here at work. Since last week the programs keep crashing with a message saying Assertion failure at "elem.cpp-986". No significant changes have been made prior to this error.

Have read here that this could be possibly a Config75.dat file error. But what can I do to fix it? If I replace the Config75.dat file I'll loose all scripts, serial number, schedules, etc.

Any suggestion?

Thanks
