visiongraphics Posted May 28, 2010 Report Share Posted May 28, 2010 Hello, Trying to restore a backed-up Exchange 2000 mailbox using Retrospect 7.7.325. When the restore begins it immediately errors with "T-4: Create MAPI session failed: Exchange MAPI/CDO may not be properly installed." MAPI/CDO v6.0.6617.47 is definitely installed on the Exchange server as it's required for use with Blackberry Enterprise Server. It's been functional for several years. I recently installed the same version MAPI/CDO package on the Retrospect server in an effort to resolve this problem. I've also created the Retrospect Backup User with permissions as specified in the docs. Any suggestions as to why "create MAPI session" is failing?
