Airborne951
Hi, I am having the same problem with Retrospect 7.7 on Windows 7. Mayoff
The TMemory::freeSpace: HeapValidate failed is fixed in the next release
Airborne951
Hi, I am using version 7.7.208 right now. What version are we talking about? Another problem I am having is that the tape is not rewound nor ejected after a backup job, even though it is specified in the script and preference (I did not have this proble with version 7.6). I have to do it manually from within Retrospect. Thanks.
Airborne951
Hi, well I just upgraded to version 7.7.325 and the 2 problems are still there: No rewind or eject of tape at the end of job/script. Error: Can't back up Removable Storage Manager, error -1101 ( file/directory not found) still there. It's pretty hard to get answers on this forum, users get pretty much to be ignored. Thanks. Lennart_T
It's pretty hard to get answers on this forum, users get pretty much to be ignored. This is just a user-to-user forum. It is NOT Retrospect support.
Mayoff
This is a cosmetic error Removable Storage Manager is no longer available as of Windows 7 and WindowsServer 2008 R2 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb540725(VS.85).aspx Edited April 13, 2010 by Guest
jgaiche
Even if this is a cosmetic error...it is annoying. It causes unnecessary emails warning about this error. Is there some way to prevent it from being reported. I have several windows 7 boxes being backed up ...but...the only machine that this error occurs on is the retrospect "server". I am using Retrospect 7.7.325.
