Mayoff
Disaster recovery issues to be fixed once and for all. The 7.7 recovery CD is really much better then 7.6. Have you tried it?
Richy_Boy
But running 7.7 he won't get ANY backups done as it will forever be matching, especially with 6TB of data! In my very first job out of uni I used Retrospect on Mac and it seemed OK. It simply copied from an external SCSI hard drive to a tape so wasn't that advanced, but it seemed to work reliably. drmpf123
I am running 7.6 on my WinXP notebook and so far no problems (except for the terrible user interface) But 7.7 on my new Win7 Acer REVO is un-reliable. Restores hang now and then and the Restore CD has the full system restore button greyout. So no good for recovery.
