Cooper987
Using: Retrospect 6.0 I have two XP Home PC's... One is my remote pc that I am trying to duplicate my files onto over my network. Setting up the scripts work OK connects and duplicates. But when the schedule executes I get this error (error -1017 (insufficient permissions) ) I think it's a password or log in issue... MY XP PC that I'm trying to duplicate on has no log in password. Is there a way to bypass the retrospect log in or is there something else I'm doing wrong here??? Thanks,
Cooper987
One more thing that isn't very clear to me is... Where and what is the user name and password that retrospect expects me to use?
Cooper987
Never mind... I changed to a more user friendly program and cheaper that totally blows this software company away. Money was not the issue but cheaper is a perk. Retrospect has it's user friendly problems imo. Thanks for the support.
