Backup Interruped - No restore point

Hi All,

 

I'm using Retrospect Express HD 2.5.113 with Windows Vista.

 

I tried to make a whole backup of my Hard Disk. Unfortunalty, for some reasons I had to interrupt the backup process (while finalizing).

 

I now have a complete backup (complete means I have a 160 Go backup which fits with my original data size) but no restore point.

 

I'm unable to :

- restore any file

- delete restore point (none is existing)

- delete backup files (via windows explorer)

- nor start a new bakup : even for one small file, Backup Process begins with "Preparation in progress... please wait" (translated from french, sorry)... and remains at this very first step hours long.

 

What to do to to clear this situation ?

I'd like to delete this first backup to free space on my backup disk and start a new process.
