hlamster Posted January 1, 2010 Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 I have a daily backup running and would like to automate the following: After the daily backup on the first day of the month: 1) delete or groom the prveious monthly backup so that it is empty 2) transfer the daily backup to the now empty monthly backup and recycle the daily backup 3) rerun the daily backup I end up doing step 1 manually and have to recreate the monthly backup set each month.
