Mayoff
This error could point to a problem writing to the actual backup disk. Have you run any disk checks on the drive? Any errors in the Windows Event Log for that disk?
willfurby
There are no disk events in the logs. I have not run a disk check. I will run that today and let the backup script run; then will post the results.
willfurby
The chkdsk ran and did not find any issues with the disk. Mayoff
That data file might be corrupted. You can try to remove it and then perform a full catalog rebuild.

kwilliams
I was having the same problem. I just renamed the file it couldn't overwrite by changing the .rdb to .old. I didn't want to delete it just in case I needed it. The backup is now running so I will post when it completes to confirm it worked. Thanks for the help. I am really getting frustrated with this product. I can see what it was so cheap now! Kevin
