beck538 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2009 I have frequently encountered situations where Retrospect just hangs during a backup, locking up my computer, requiring me to lean on the power button to do a warm boot. After boot, there is no information about either the progress Retrospect made during the backup attempt, or the error condition that caused the computer to hang. Is it possible to activate a detailed log file to list activity during a backup? I realize these files could be large, but it would be useful to chase down problems like this. You could possibly implement an error leveling scheme, which would control the amount of detail that would write to the file. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
