sse
Hi all, I' testing Retrospect and will now to the last test: Backing up our Exchange Server which works in an active - passive cluster. Both nodes have win 2003 Enterprise (32bit) with exchange 2003 Enterprise installed. Now my questions: 1. Is there a special Client for Cluster nodes necessary? 2. Does Retrospect recognize when a cluster fails? 3. Do I have to make 1 Backupjob for each Server Node (and just the one which has access to the Databases will work) or does it function similiar to Symantec Backup Exec where you can see the Clustername (with which you always reach the active server) and just need to generate1 Backup job ´for both server 4. Anything else I should do for the cluster-backup Thanks in advance!!! A Retrospect Newbie
Mayoff
Retrospect is not cluster aware and no special cluster client exists. Retrospect does not recognize cluster failures.
