dclair
For many months it backed up fine but the last few months it has not backed up at all. It hangs at 'updating status' [and obviously shows zero restore points]. I can't think of anything that changed on this computer - it is running XP like our other computers on our network which have continued to backup fine. I don't think this has anything to do with it but... The only thing different is that there are two folders associated with this computer. At some time is started backing up to a folder called COMPUTERNAME2 when previous it had a folder called COMPUTERNAME. It did though backup for 1/2 year into the COMPUTERNAME2 folder before it stopped backing up with this hanging 'updating status' issue. Any ideas? mrblue23
Same here. Version is Retrospect Express HD for Windows, 2.5.113 on Win XP Edit: After an hour of trying to get it back to work it now found the backup points. I apparently cant use eSATA anymore, just USB and have to open the backup point file on the expternal HDD manually.
