Have you tried running any exchange mailbox repair tools on that mailbox? If you clone that mailbox into another account, do you get errors backing up the copy of that mailbox? This process checks the integrity of the mailbox I had no problems moving the mailbox. why should i copy the mailbox into another account ? I have no sign that there is a problem with the account.
