It came with windows xp pro installed but the product key on the sticker is for windows home. It is out of warranty.I believe this is causing validation to fail.If i backup my system and use the restart disk changing from xp to home will i be able to restore to it. I would like to be able to make everything like it is now so i do not end up in a worse situation then i am in now.I could get rid of the message popping up that says i may be the victim of software counterfeiting.
