With an appropriate text editor (I suggest BBEdit or its free sibling, TextWrangler), open: /Applications/Retrospect\ Client.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Localizable.strings and edit to your heart's content. You are on your own as to support. The messages vary depending on client version, and your work will be overwritten with each client update. See: Text Wrangler Good luck. The messages vary depending on client version You haven't provided any information as to your client version, nor have you provided the exact message you are seeing so there is no way for us to discover what client version you are using. Sorry, can't help you there. The message is coming from the Windows client. Versions on the Retrospect console and engine are pretty much irrelevant.
