beachmat
Can anyone tell me if Retrospect for Mac (preferably 6) supports the Dell LTO-3-060 tape drive? thanks
Mayoff
You need to know the exact model number of the hardware. Then go to www.Retrospect.com/hardware to search the database.
beachmat
Right, thanks. So Dell don't make the actual drives?
beachmat
Well there are other Dell drives listed but not that one, so I'm assuming it's not supported.
rhwalker
Right, thanks. So Dell don't make the actual drives? Surely this wasn't a serious question, was it? Well there are other Dell drives listed but not that one, so I'm assuming it's not supported. Wrong answer. Why don't you just look in Apple System Profiler and see what device you have? Or, if the question is regarding a drive you are planning to purchase, why don't you give Dell pre-sales support a call and ask what drives are being shipped this month in the enclosures, then look up that drive. See Robin's suggestion above. Russ
