mbroom
Hello, I consistently get error -530 telling me that the backup client cannot be found. Yet, it shows up in the Sources client list as a sub-volume as it should. This only occurs if I want to "Copy." The problem didn't occur when the script was set as a "Backup." I running Mac OS X 10.5.7 with Retrospect version 8.0.736.1 and client version 6.3.019. Would can I do to correct this? Michael
Mayoff
If you refresh the volume from the Source window, does it display a connection speed?
mbroom
The volume shows up in the Source/Client window, but I am not able to select it and when I double-click on it I get a "Source Unavailable" message. Michael
Mayoff
Can you ping that computer? What if you add sources and use the Test option to try that computers connection?
mbroom
The source ip address pings just fine. When I test it as you suggested, no dice. When I attempt to add the source via "Add source directly" or "Add Share" I get the message "Volume not available." Michael
mbroom
The copy process on its own began yesterday as scheduled while I was away! What could have happened so that it started working? Michael
