cmp119 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 Can't track volumes, error -3421 (unknown). I recieve the above error when highligting Exchange Mailboxes and selecting the Mailboxes... button. I can select Exchange Server\First Storage Group and browse without a problem. I reviewed the preferences\security section and it's using the domain Admin account. I would think if everything is working well I could at least view mailboxes. I configured the Exchange backup set to backup the whole "Exchange Server". When I right mouse button click on Exchange Mailboxes Login As... I have "Use domain authentication with the appropriate domain, administrator, and password, but then it states "Sorry, authentication failed, please retry:" I even tried "Use current RBU information", and the same error displays. I am positive I have the right user information, but exchange mailbox access fails. As stated above, I can access the First Storage Group, so I would think if there were truly an authentication problem then it would exist throughout.
