hiker1 Posted May 14, 2009 Report Share Posted May 14, 2009 I have two servers, 7.6.111, running on XP Pro. Under Help, Retrospect Updates, Check Now, it is never able to connect to get updates. It always returns could not connect to the automatic updates site. I do not have any proxies. The firewall in XP is off as well. Any suggestions? I have searched the forums, and cannot find any information about the automatic updates feature, so I assume it works for everyone else. Does this feature work for others? hiker1 Posted May 26, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2009 I have opened up the firewall to the outside world for the Retrospect computer. All ports, TCP and UDP, are completely open. The windows firewall is also disabled on the XP Pro computer. I am still unable to get the automatic updates to work. What I am doing is going under Help to Retrospect Updates and click on Check Now.
