!The Media Set member "1-shared nas" is corrupt or has data from another set.

Recommended Posts

This is the result of the first attempt at a backup to this set with the 733 version. 608 had no complaints. What should I do? Rebuild, Repair? Get depressed?

Some people seem to be scrapping everything from the older versions of Retrospect and starting afresh with the new ones. Is this recommended? I presume, and hope, not!

I don't see how to do this. I go to Media Sets, select the set concerned (not sure if I need to do that), click on Rebuild. It asks what sort of set I'm wanting to do, I pick the Disk option (this is a USB drive connected to a Time Capsule). I then get the 'Rebuild a Disk Media Set' dialog with no disks listed. I click Add Member, this gives me a list of disks but not the one I'm after. I think it's a list of all directly connected drives. I tried clicking 'Add Share' but when I enter the details of the drive I'm told it's already logged in.
