Topcat56 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Share Posted May 8, 2009 I have an iomega Storcenter ix2 with Retrospect Express HD. I backed up files from a laptop to the storcenter and there is a RBC file in the Retrospect Restore Points folder for it. In fact there are 2 entries for it Laptop and Laptop2. There is also 2 sub folders in the Retrospect directory as well. The thing is, I want to delete BOTH and start again. I have already gone through the "restore" then delete the restore point process, and while it gets rid of Laptop2, the Laptop folder appears to have been orphaned. Maintenance does not add or remove it either. How do I get rid of these directories and entries (I tried deleting them from windows but get security violations, I cant alter the security either). USANomad Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 I'm having the same problem. I've got an Iomega and have almost filled a full Terrabyte with useless backkups.
