Gordon Mason Posted April 15, 2009 Report Share Posted April 15, 2009 (edited) :confused2: Scenario: I created various backup folders for all my photos using Retrospect Express, backed up to external hard drive, then later my PC crashed and I had to rebuild it. When I first tried to restore the photo files using Retrospect Express 7.6, it was looking for 2 different file extensions, none of which matched the .RDB files I could see on my backup drive. Eventually, I managed to rebuild the catalog file, which allowed me to then see all the folders and allows me to select the different JPG's. However, when the restore operation executes, it only restores 378 files out of 2,000+ and says the restore operation completed successfully ! I appear to have created multiple snapshots - how can I retrieve all of the files within each ?
