Judith Fireman Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 My Retrospect Express HD 2.5 became corrupted somehow, so I deleted it and have tried repeatedly to re-install. I have disabled my McAfee firewall, but continue on repeated tries to be unable to open Retrospect, even tho it appears in my Program Files. The error I get is tstring.cpp-2214, which has been written to assert_log.utx. I cannot find this file. Repeated tries to reinstall are unsuccessful. Any help will be appreciated.
