Mayoff Posted April 8, 2009 Report Share Posted April 8, 2009 (edited) Because Retrospect for Macintosh had not gotten a real new feature in over 5 years. The 8.0 version we released as been in development for almost that entire time. It was also not working well with current operating systems and the old version was incompatible with future planned operating systems. Having the same features on both platforms is critical and we are finally getting close. New Windows version are still on the way.
