geckoman Posted March 15, 2009 Report Share Posted March 15, 2009 I am having a problem with my Retrospect Express HD v 1.0.196. I don't know if this is supported anymore. I did not have problems until I had a hard drive crash. I upgraded my whole system with new CPU AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+ on an Asus M3A MB with 4GB RAM. When I reinstalled Retrospect, I was not able to see my external 300 GB HD anymore. In my computer I can see a "locked" drive, but I cannot unlock it. When I go into Maxtor one Touch - it does not show any drives and the Retrospect HD stays in the "Updating Status..." mode. I tried installing with the drive plugged in and with it not plugged in.
