chucksavage
I'm trying to install Retrospect 6.0 desktop from the original cd on a G4 mac that I will use for network backups to sata drive boxes on the same machine. I'm replacing an even older G4 that served the same purpose using the same version. When running the install I'm prompted for my administrator password (passphrase) and upon entering it I get the message above in the subject line - "The software to be installed requires Administrator or higher level access privileges". I'm able to perform other administrator functions so what's up with Retrospect? I've tried creating a second administrator user account and rebooting with no success. FIXXED IT! Repairing disk permissions and a re-boot did the trick. Edited March 13, 2009 by Guest Found solution
