Mopad
I have only one domain conroller in my network that failed yesterday. (I know dumb) It was installed on a vm in hyper v. Is there any direction to restore a Windows Server 2008 Domain controller on hyper v? Any suggestions? I do have a backup of it the night before. Mopad
I guess i could just ask also, is restoring windows server 2008 active directory just like windows server 2003 with active directory? like this? 1)Run the restore 2)Reboot into directory services restore mode 3)The Retrospect helper service should run automatically once you boot into Directory Services restore mode 4)Reboot the machine normally 5)Done
Mopad
I have created a new vm, installed windows server 2008, installed retrospect client, and did a restore. Before rebooting ther server into active directory restore mode, i noticed the retrospect helper service is not showing, but retrospect client service is? Any help?
