Takeoff Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 I've upgraded to 2.5 Express HD on my laptop and have made a current restore point. I now have XP Home SP3. I want to install my License and files onto a desktop PC with XP Pro. I will not be using Express HD on the laptop because its memory requirements cause that system to slow down too much. If I choose the "Overwrite entire disk" option for my desktop, as on pp. 29-30, am I also overwriting the XP Pro OS already installed? Will I receive the notice "too many users for your current license." What else should I be concerned about? I'm not a techie, obviously. Thanks!
