nixIT Posted February 2, 2009 Report Share Posted February 2, 2009 Hello all, brand new to the forums, and new to Retrospect. we have had retrospect running for over a year, backup up some folders to LaCie firewire drives. The drives took a dump, so we replaced them with eSata LaCie drives, and an eSata card from LaCie as well. I ended up re-creating the backup sets, that are stored on the LaCie drives. When we set up our scripts, we are backing up to file (stored on LaCie drives). I was able to get 1 successful backup last week, when we installed the new drives and card. However, now whenever we backup, after about 12 hours of backup I get Error 102 - Communication Error. I am able to copy files to and from the LaCie drives with no problem, though the backups now will not work. The drives, card are brand spanking new. Any idea?
