Retrospect 7.5 on WinXP with IOMEGA ScreenPlay Pro HD / separate logon required

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Retrospect 7.5 is running on a Windows XP.

I am trying to use a IOMEGA ScreenPlay HD Pro 1TB network device as target for my backups.

Windows Explorer shows the ScreenPlay Drive as letter Z:, I do have all the required read/write permissions to copy/delete files on that drive.

Retrospect allows me to create a script with backup-target IOMEGA network drive. Starting that script, Retrospect creates the specific folder-structure on the network drive, analyzes the backup-files and then requires an additional userid/password combination to access the IOMEGA drive.

Do I need to define separate users on the IOMEGA drive, to use it in combination with retrospect and does anyone by any chance know, where these user's can be defined?

Thanks a lot in advance and best regards

Joe
