robertmmunroe
I have a WD MyBook World Edition II 1TB drive and I had backed up my 74GB Raptor several times with it. I bought a second Raptor, created a RAID array and reinstalled windows. When I tried to restore Retrospect HD Express found no restore points. It is able to restore now but I cannot access the old backups. Now I should mention that initially I installed from the disk and this time I installed from the website installer so, the versions might have been initailly different. I have now updated to 2.5 and I still have no backups. Please help me!
Mayoff
What path are the .rdb files located in on the backup disk?
robertmmunroe
K:\Retrospect Restore Points\Retrospect\WOPR2\1-WOPR2 Do the computer names have to match? Because I changed it. Rob
Mayoff
That could be a factor, I am not sure. You can download a trial to version 7.6 and restore your data if needed.
robertmmunroe
Why would downloading a different program suddenly return functionality? The restore points were made by HD Express 2.0 so, why can't we get this to work with that program? I would rather not download and try a whole new program with no indication of success.
