Retrospect cannot see or configure client

You would have a better chance of getting an answer if you posted in the Macintosh forum.

That said, when you do, provide information about the version of MacOS running on the MacBook Pro and the version of Retrospect client running on the MacBook Pro. If I had to guess based on your incomplete information, it sounds like a software firewall issue on the MacBook Pro. Try turning the firewall off on the MacBook Pro, see if that fixes the problem. If so, then troubleshoot from there.

There are threads in the Macintosh forum regarding specific issues with MacOS 10.5.x firewall and Retrospect, and how to get things to work.
